ECOPLAN emerges as a response to the need for a creative planning of space that would allow the development of successful projects based on three basic principles: harmony with the environment, high ethical values and in keeping with the legal dispositions of the country, with the purpose of guaranteeing their solidness.
Its founders initiated in 1986 under the name "Construcción Creativa, S.A." However, it was on November 5 of 1991 when it was decided to constitute ECOPLAN SRL, with the purpose of expanding the company’s objectives. Architects Víctor Hugo Arroyo Calderón and Melba Mora Rojas continue to be in charge to this day.
MASTER PLANS: They are graphic or preliminary proposals in the form of maps, based on various technical studies (architectural, geographical, topographic, environmental, socioeconomic, etc.), practically elementary when determining the best use and distribution in a property, including the eventual development of infrastructure and buildings, so that they can support the strategic objectives of the developers or, propose other alternatives.
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION: We develop residential, commercial and tourist projects, including marinas and berths, according to the stages common to the process:
LOCATION AND EVALUATION OF PROPERTIES: We take advantage of our experience of more than 20 years in planning and territorial ordering to locate and assess properties for an eventual purchase or sale, so that our customers can make better use backed by our knowledge.
REGULATORY PLANS (URBAN & COASTAL): These are territorial planning plans, designed to adapt the use of land and human activities for the maximum use of resources without causing their depletion. They are developed in the different sectors of the Maritime Terrestrial Zone of the country (PR Costeros), as well as in specific geographical and political units (Urban PR) and are normally requested by state institutions, international organizations or other non-profit organizations.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STUDIES, IFAS (EAE) - ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PLANS (PGA) and others: We manage the environmental assessments requested by the National Environmental Technical Secretariat (SETENA) as a requirement to grant the certificate of environmental viability corresponding to a certain type of development. The objective of the studies is to establish the relationship between the infrastructure project and the environment, determine its impact and take the respective mitigation measures.
FOREST MANAGEMENT PLANS: These are land-use planning plans for the conservation of natural resources in protected areas according to their classification.
Socio-environmental and socio-economic diagnoses for the development of projects, organizations and communities, with proposals for strategic planning for the fulfillment of their goals.
As appropriate, it includes territorial analysis through the participation of officials or the public to determine programs and their scope.
These studies and proposals can be short or long term and with a link with other organizations or institutions.
